27 3/4in. black powder only barrel, with partially file cut raised solid top-rib, matt rib, open sights with folding leaf sight, bead fore-sight, ornately carved percussion fence, non-rebounding back action lock with bolted hammer, set triggers, permanently attached fore-end, fine scroll engraving, the top-strap with small blank silver oval, the triggerguard tang with unusual floral pattering, retaining very slight traces of original finish, 13 5/8in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, domed horn pistolgrip-cap, sling swivels and with engraved steel buttplate, the heel of the butt with an armoury / hunting lodge oval escutcheon numbered '18', weight 8lb. 10oz.
